Campana Reliefs


We just learned about the Arch of Constantine.

Another bunch of ancient Roman sculptures are the Campana Reliefs.

These were small art tiles that were at the top of walls below the roof.
They are terracotta reliefs.
Terracotta is clay that was baked and cooled when it hardened.
A relief is a sculpture that is connected to the background.
