Paul's Letter to the Romans

The Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the people of Rome, and that book in the bible is called Romans.

He was writing to a bunch of different types of people who came from different places, and in Rome people were arguing a lot about what was the right way to believe and what were the right or wrong things to do.

He told everyone that everyone does things wrong and no one is perfect.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

And that because people sin, the punishment for sin is death, but believing in Jesus gives eternal life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
