King Brown Snake


We just learned about the Madagascar Tree Boa.

Another snake is the King Brown Snake, also known as the mulga snake, pilbara cobra, or psuedechis australis.

These venomous snakes live in Australia and can grow to be 9 feet long.
When they bite, they use a lot of venom, sometimes 10 times more than other snakes.

Sacral Nerves


We just learned about the Lumbar Nerves.

The spinal cord continues down below your back and into your Sacral Nerves.
There are 5 sacral nerves, named S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5.

These nerves help control your hips, legs and feet, and they also help control the organs in your lower abdomen like your colon and bladder.

Nyenchen Taglha Mountains


We just learned about the Kunlun Mountains.

The next largest mountain range is the Nyenchen Taglha Mountains in Tibet and China.

Since these mountains are very far from any large cities and roads, a lot of the peaks in the eastern part of the mountain range have never been climbed.

Great Cameo of France


We just learned about the Gonzaga Cameo.

Another Great Cameo of France.

10 12 This is another cameo carving of a sardonyx stone.
It is 10 inches by 12 inches, and has three different layers of people.

It is twenty four different people in the sculpture, and it is a picture of famous Roman people.

Bending


We just learned about the Drawing Down.

Another way to work with the metal is called bending.

To bend the metal in a nice rounded shape, the blacksmith can use the horn of the anvil, use something called a bending fork into the hardy hole.
Then they hammer the metal to bend it.
