Paul's Letter to the Phillipians

We just learned about Paul's letter to the church in Ephesus

Another letter Paul wrote was to a church in a town called Philippi, a city in Greece.

In this letter, Paul was giving instructions to people about how to live, to obey God and to serve him.

A famous part of the book of Philipians is:

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Fruit Dish on a Checkered Tablecloth - Gris

We just learned about the famous work of art Houses at L'Estaque by French painter Georges Braque.

Another famous work of art is the painting Houses at Fruit Dish on a Checkered Tablecloth by Spanish painter Juan Gris in 1917.

Juan Gris's painting is a part of the Cubism style of Abstract Art, where the painter liked to use lines and triangles to try to show a different side of a picture, making it look very strange, but still very interesting.
