This country is in South America, and borders the Caribbean Sea, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, and the Pacific Ocean.
It is about 1.14 million square kilometers, and about 52 million people live there.
The people in this country speak mostly Spanish.

The flag of Colombia is sideways stripes of yellow blue and red.
Yellow is for gold, and the sun. Blue is for the sky and water. Red is for the blood of the people who fought for freedom.
