Another type of Old World Monkey is the Uganda Mangabey, also called the lophocebus ugandae.

Just like you would think from the name, these monkeys live in Uganda.
They grow to be about 3 feet long, weighing about 24 pounds.

Usually these monkeys live in the forests, but they go down to the ground for food, where they eat mostly fruits, nuts and seeds.

Cell Growth

We just learned a little about Malignant Tumor.

One of the six signs of Cancer is Cell Growth.

Usually in the human body, cells are created, they grow a little, and then they either split up into more cells, or they go away.
Sometimes cells don't do what they are supposed to, and they don't go away.
They just keep getting bigger and bigger, or keep dividing but not going away.
That can be a sign that makes some of the tumors we've learned about.

Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God

We just learned about the Camp Meetings.

Another part of early Christianity is the sermon Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.

In America in the 1741 a preacher named Jonathan Edwards wrote this sermon that he told to his church followers.
This sermon talked about how everyone was making God angry by sinning, and warned people of the dangers of the devil.
It made a lot of people scared to do bad things, and a lot more people started going to church because they didn't want to make God angry.

This type of message was called a "fire and brimstone" sermon because it used the idea of burning up in fire to scare people to be good.

Sometimes these ideas have worked through the years, but we know the Bible teaches that Jesus loves the world and gave up his life.
So it might be good to remind people that they need to go to church or bad things could happen, but it's also very important to remind them that Jesus loves them.

Timing Belt

We just learned about the Crankshaft.

Another part of a car's engine is the Timing Belt, Timing Chain or Cambelt.

We know that the Crankshaft spins around with the up and down movement of the pistons,
and the Camshaft spins around to open and close the intake and exhaust valves.

Both the Crankshaft and the Camshaft need to spin at exactly the same time so that the valves open and close while the pistons are going up and down.
The timing belt is wrapped around both the crankshaft and camshaft to make sure they move at the same speed so the valves and pistons are all moving at the right time together.
